　　1.at a loss

　　不知所措、困惑不解

　　【例句】I'm at a loss what to do next. 我不知道下一步怎么办。

　　亏本地

　　They sold the goods at a loss.

　　他们亏本出售货物。

　　【总结】at a loss相当于一个形容词和副词，做表语和状语。

　　【拓展】loss in 在……方面的亏损，在……的伤亡

　　at a loss over 对……不知所措

　　be at a loss to conj. 感到为难

　　be at a loss as to 对……很困惑

　　2.at a low/high price 价格低(高)

　　【例句】I bought this watch at a low price. 我以便宜的价钱买了这只表。

　　【拓展】at the price of 以……的价格(通常用于表示买卖的动作的句子中)

　　with the price 通常表示一种状态，不常用

　　3.at a low/high speed 速度很慢/快地……

　　【例句】The signals go to and fro at a very high but almost constant speed. 那些信号用非常快但几乎不变的速度来回传送。

　　【拓展】speed 作名词的用法

　　(1)at + full/top/low/a high/an ordinary/the same + speed

　　以全(高、低、高、平常、同样)的速度

　　(2)"at a speed of... " 以……的速度

　　at a speed of 700 miles an hour

　　at a speed of 160m/s

　　4.at a mouthful 一口、满口

　　【例句】He wants to eat it up at a mouthful.

　　他要一口把它吃掉。

　　【拓展】swallow sth at a mouthful

　　一口吞下某物

　　say a mouthful vi.说意味深长的话中肯的话

　　make a mouthful of 一口吞下

　　fill one's mouth full 填满嘴，堵住嘴

　　5.at a time 一次;有时、曾经

　　【例句】Personal enmities must be forgotten at a time of national crisis.

　　民族危机当头，必须捐弃个人恩怨。

　　【总结】at a time

　　作“一次，每次”讲，常用于“数词+at a time”的结构中

　　【词语辨析】at a time，at one time

　　at a time 依次，逐一，每次。如: Don't try to do everything at once, take it a bit at a time. 不要什么事情都一块干，要一次做一点。

　　at one time 一度，从前。如：At one time I used to go skiing every winter. 我有一度每到冬天就去滑雪。
